A dazzling 15-strong collective of talented and innovative, multi-instrumentalists, vocalists and composers, The Destroyers have takend Europe's insatiable appetite for all things Klezmer, ripper the cliches apart and developed their own brand of Gypsy folm music with a gothic turbo charge. Their riotous stage-show has captivated audiences around the country, sweeping them into a frenzy of uninhibited dancing and bonhomie. You will recognize the influences of Gypsy jazz, Irish fold, Balkan brass, klezma, ska, bhangra... but will soon abandon attempts to pin them down.

The Destroyers will put an end to indifference and motionless feet! We know because they have been to Wilton's before...

We highly recommend listening to them on their website:

“Not so much a band as a Birmingham phenomenon. If you haven’t caught up with
them yet my advice is do it now” -
Birmingham Post

“The euphoric audience gave the show a huge
standing ovation and who could not fail to be lifted by the show?  The Destroyers are utterly contemporary and cutting edge and almost frightening in their creativity, but they manage to balance this with being totally accessible and appealing to the masses” –
Night Times Review

This time the band is launching its debut single Out of Babel, and they
will be bringing two fine support acts for your delight and enjoyment – the fantastically quirky
Bev Lee Harling and the Kitchen Sink plus
some gypsy jazz from Trio
Manouche

Expect some passionate music making, serious dancing and a rocking Mahogany Bar...
