Rocking five piece sea shanty band The Salts are joined by internationally renowned shanty singer, Chris Ricketts, for a rousing night mixing classics with original sea-faring folk.

Brace yourselves, m'hearties, to join in with the songs y'all know and love including Bound for South Australia, Blow the Man Down, Drunken Sailor and many more, and enjoy a barrel-load of stirring original tunes along the way.  Appealing to all ages, this will be a nautical night to remember.

The Salts are a co-operative of seasoned musicians, creating what is fast becoming one of the most exciting and energetic folk concepts of recent times. Fronted by twice BBC Young Folk Finalist, Lee Collinson-James, these musicians have, between them, circumnavigated the globe.

Chris Ricketts, Portsmouth born and bred, was discovered at the age of 15 and has been tossed on waves of international bookings and acclaim ever since. His songs are inspired by his love of the sea and draw on his experience as a well-travelled musician. His new album, Between the Devil and The Deep Blue Sea, brings together his love of sea shanties and folk, his formidable instrumental skills, his song writing skills and a recent performance track record of exciting stage shows in the UK, Europe and America.
