This duo will start your week with a bang. Giulio Romano Malaisi and Filippo Dall'Asta bring their sizzling guitar and unique, fresh arrangements of traditional Gypsy swing, plus memorable renditions of Italian and Spanish favourites.
Formed in 2012, Gypsy Dynamite have been playing in venues across London and Europe, including regular gigs at Cahoots, Nightjar and Le Quecumbar, where they recorded a live album last year. They regularly perform with Dom Durner (The Manouche) and as a quartet with double bass and clarinet and even present an electro-swing set with Tallulah Goodtimes. Tonight, we welcome them as a duo for a lively, on-your-feet, evening of explosive Gyspy swing.
