The oldest grand music hall in the world is putting the music very firmly back into the Hall with the world premiere of the Wilton’s Music 4all Festival, 11th May-16th May 2020. Wilton’s is a hub of inspiration for new talent and in May 2020 we are focusing on emerging musical talent.

Wilton’s has always been an exceptional place for an audience to hear live music but we have also built up a reputation for world-class musicians performing and recording in the space, such as: Duran Duran, The Weeknd, Marc Almond, Adam Ant, Billy Bragg, Kate Bush, The Coral, Bryan Ferry, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Kelis, Kwabs, Laura Marling, Mumford and Sons, Paulo Nutini, Frank Turner, and Wild Beasts.

Now it is time to find the best emerging musical talent in the UK and showcase it on the Wilton’s stage. We are inviting applications in the following musical categories:
Opera
Contemporary & Jazz
Popular, 
Rock & Indie
Urban,
Electronic & DJ
Cabaret  

There will be three individuals and/or groups chosen in each field.  

All successful participants will receive:
Mentoring from a professional individual or organisation;
A week’s rehearsal time at Wilton’s (Jan-April 2020);
A commissioning fee;
An evening performance as part of the Wilton’s Music 4all Festival in May 2020;
A Festival Pass/es to see all other performances at the Festival for free.

Mentors include: English National Opera, Dan Gillespie Sells, Tim Whitehead, Bengi Ünsal and DJ Yoda

So we can hear your recording or see your film
We need you to upload a recording or film to a sound- or video-hosting site and send us the link. A simple way to do this is via SoundCloud or YouTube. Please don’t use WeTransfer as your video will only be viewable for a very short period of time. The privacy setting on your entry recording or video must be set as either public or unlisted in order for us to listen to your recording or view your film once you have sent us the link. Please send us a link to your recording or film in your entry email.
