Yes, we can officially report that William Anelay Ltd are in the building. Just the two of them, so far. Plus the dog. But it’s a start.
They’ve arrived!
Ladies and Gentlement, please give a warm welcome to Michael (Mick) Feather (Site Supervisor, on the right) and Tim Robinson (Site Foreman, on the left):
They were hoping to set up their site office portakabins by the end of this week or early next but there’s been a run on them and they’ll have to wait an extra week. Who’d have thought? In the meantime, they’re making good use of the table leftover from Father Nandru and the Wolves:
It’s good to see them setting up their workstation and making themselves at home in the Study.
A particularly warm welcome to Bailey:
And this is his workstation:
They may have been out of luck on the portakabins but they’re not letting the grass grow and the welder has already been on site and turned around our rear fire escape to make way for the kabins when they arrive. They’ve also taken delivery of some shiny new hardware:
Cor blimey - bins, brooms and barrows!
We’re told it’s a shovel. Not a spade. We know it’s a controversial topic.
The plan is ready to be implemented and…
… the schedule is on the wall. THIS IS IT!
