Nostalgia for the Light is a remarkable cinematic experience: absorbing, at times painful, yet always artistic. A film that deals with the aftermath of the Pinochet era and the ongoing search for the ‘disappeared’ in the breathtaking Atacama desert, it intertwines the science of archaeology and astronomy with the very human need to create our future from past memories.

The film is followed by Dmytro Morykit’s Nevertheless: Precipitation, a musical journey meditating on the space we inhabit from the seas to the stars and the vital part water plays. Dmytro Morykit performs a live piano concert alongside a number of short films from NASA in a transformative experience.
