International chanteuse Clara Sanabras presents an evening of her spellbinding songs, from Catalan Exile to Shakespeare's Tempest, through to her new album "Fugue to the Floating World", a meditation on the transient world of love and magic. Fresh from her collaboration with Sir Ray Davies of The Kinks, in a reimagining of "The Village Green Preservation Society", Clara Sanabras is a tireless creator of musical worlds.

After her monumental rendition of the Shakespearean tale "A Hum About Mine Ears" commissioned by Chorus of Dissent and performed at the Barbican with Britten Sinfonia in 2016, she finds a more meditative space in which to write "Fugue to the Floating World", her 6th album of original songs; Clara features in top movie soundtracks such as The Hobbit, The Hunger Games, Snow White and The Huntsman, For Greater Glory, and Titanic Live with music by the late James Horner, who chose her especially for the project.

Sanabras has played The Royal Albert Hall, The Kremlin, Buckingham Palace, Sydney Opera House, La Scala Milan and collaborated with Nigel Kennedy, Jarvis Cocker, Simon Schama, Harvey Brough, The Ukelele Orchestra of Great Britain, Orchestra of the Swan, Natacha Atlas, and Karlheinz Stockhausen, the forefather of electronica, amongst many others.
