The musicians of The Lucky Dog Picturehouse are dedicated to recreating the original cinema experience; bringing together classic silent films and live, period specific music. They have performed and lectured at BFI Southbank, LoCo Film Festival, London Transport Museum, Standon Calling and numerous other venues across the UK.

Wednesday 2nd August - The Navigator (1924) plus comedy short
All aboard for the biggest hit of Keaton's career! When the wealthy Rollo Treadway's proposal of marriage is rejected, he decides to go stag on his own honeymoon, but inevitably disaster ensues!

Thursday 3rd August - Buster Keaton: Sherlock Jr. (1924) plus comedy shorts
Frequently voted favourite silent film of all time, Sherlock Jr. sees Buster Keaton star as a young, unlucky-in-love cinema projectionist who dreams of a more heroic role in life. That chance soon beckons, and Keaton's skills as an amateur sleuth are put to the test.

Friday 4th August - Battling Butler (1926) plus comedy short
A rich, spoiled dandy pretends to be champion boxer, "Battling Butler", to impress the family of the girl he loves. All is going smoothly, that is until the real Butler shows up...
